A relative of the Sweet Potato, Ipomoea is a bushy vine grown for its dense colourful foliage, rather than the tuber it produces underground. Plant to tumble over the sides of your hanging baskets, window boxes, or pots adding months of interest. Can also be grown as groundcover to soften edges with lush greenery. H&S: 30cm x 90cm. Makes an excellent container or bedding companion to summer flowering annuals such as Fuchsias, Pelargoniums, Lantana, and Petunias. Very heat tolerant - thrives in full sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil. Keep watered during warm, dry spells of weather and feed with liquid fertilizer once a month to keep the foliage healthy.
